- Working in our Finance Valuation and Control team within Product Control, you’ll help analyse performance, strengthen financial controls and provide valuable insight that makes a difference
- Preparation of daily P&L production, reconciliations, signoffs and issue resolution
- Supporting the month end close processes associated with accurately reporting and independently validating the bank’s balance sheet in a timely manner through the preparation of complex reconciliations leading to several journal postings
- Preparation of analysis and in-depth commentary on P&L and balance sheet movements
- Supporting a robust control framework for all processes within remit
- Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from partner requests
- Supporting delivery of efficiencies and a culture of continuous improvement
- Establishing and building relationships with partners

- 12 months or more developing relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Qualified or part qualified accountant
- Numerate and competent with MS Office applications, with 12 months or more experience with Excel
- At least 12 months gaining knowledge of Financial Instruments
- Experience of working in Financial Control or Audit
- Experience of SQL and Macros
- Knowledge of Fair Value methodologies and valuation techniques
- Understanding and exposure to Capital Market and Loan Markets products
