The events manager is part of the team responsible for delivery of Lloyd's global programme of events ensuring best in class activations that are effectively tailored to audience needs. They provide event expertise, guidance and oversight to Lloyd's colleagues worldwide, while contributing to the continuous improvement of event delivery standards and processes.
Principal Accountabilities
- Delivery of Lloyd's global programme of events providing best practice guidance in event planning, design and production, and supporting end-to-end delivery.
- Design compelling event concepts, content and communications that appeal to audience objectives.
- Help colleagues leverage the event agenda for brand activation, key corporate campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
- As part of Lloyd's event Centre of Excellence, lead event programme planning, oversight and delivery support for assigned business functions or regional teams and ensure alignment with global event standards, processes and frameworks.
- Work closely with Lloyd's global network to plan and execute major regional events (e.g. RIMS, PARIMA, CIAB, FERMA, SIRC).
- Engage with the brand and communications team to ensure that event-based activity aligns with their oversight and processes, including the use of marketing and promotion channels.
- Manage relationship with event vendors and third parties, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to brand standards.
- Effectively utilise event planning, management and communication platforms to plan, deliver and promote events (including CVENT, MS Dynamics).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our delivery model and lead projects to enhance our event delivery standards, tools and process.
- Develop, measure and analyse KPIs for value proposition activation and ensure they are tracked for all core programmes.
- Monitor and track budget allocated to marketing and event activities.
