The Role: We are seeking a Relationship Manager – Capital Engagement to join our Member Services team. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, consistent experience for Lloyd’s capital stakeholders, including investors, members, investment managers and advisers. You will act as a single point of contact, managing relationships within your portfolio while coordinating responses to queries across Lloyd’s. This is a collaborative role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to navigate a complex, matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop professional relationships with a portfolio of capital stakeholders, maintaining insight into their priorities and risks.
- Coordinate end-to-end responses to stakeholder queries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
- Support the onboarding of new members, investors, and capital structures by working across multiple internal teams.
- Help stakeholders navigate processes, requirements, and frameworks (including M&URs), ensuring clarity without providing advisory input.
- Capture and analyse stakeholder insight to inform engagement planning and service improvements.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and complaints in line with regulatory expectations.
- Contribute to management information and reporting on stakeholder trends and service performance.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and stakeholder experience.

Knowledge & experience:
- Experience in relationship or stakeholder management within a regulated or complex environment.
- Understanding of financial services or insurance markets (knowledge of Lloyd’s market structure is advantageous).
- Experience coordinating complex queries or working across multiple functions.
- Familiarity with risk, governance and regulatory frameworks (including FCA expectations).
- Ability to use insight and data to identify trends and drive improvements.
