As our next Paraplanner, you’ll produce financial reports for the full range of products recommended by our Advisers. You will also conduct quality checks on your own reports and those of your colleagues to mitigate business risk, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements. You will participate in continuous improvement activities to proactively manage the client experience, and your expertise will help set up our Financial Advisers for successful client conversations.

Day‑to‑Day Activities

  • Ensuring that financial advice and reports satisfy internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Responding to incoming enquiries, requests and instructions from internal or external clients
  • Effective administration and carrying out regular designated procedures accurately and promptly
  • Ensuring validation and correct input of information onto relevant systems

Skills And Experience Required

  • Level 4 Diploma in financial planning
  • Paraplanning experience: able to research and analyse client circumstances, build compliant financial plans, and draft clear, client‑ready suitability reports
  • Technical proficiency across pensions, investments, protection and taxation principles, with the ability to apply them to complex client scenarios
  • Regulatory awareness: confident working to FCA rules and company procedures; meticulous file‑checking and record‑keeping
  • Collaboration & communication: able to partner with advisers and administrators, challenge constructively, and translate technical detail into plain English for clients
  • Quality & ownership: track record of delivering accurate work to deadlines, prioritising effectively, and improving templates/processes
