Overview
Planning & Scheduling Administrator at Lloyd’s Register. Location: Glasgow, UK. We are seeking a Planning & Scheduling Administrator responsible for managing the delivery of Planning & Scheduling tasks for standard Service Delivery In-Service or MEC jobs.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Monitor vessel schedules for In-Service jobs to facilitate effective planning, including:
- Conducting technical competency (TC) checks to identify the necessary TCs for specific scopes.
- Assessing resource availability and recommending appropriate assignments.
- Organizing tasks in the surveyor calendar to optimize resource utilization.
- Managing Planning & Scheduling requests from receipt to completion, ensuring they align with proposed KPI targets.
- Request Validation: Verify requests by performing contract and account checks to ensure all requirements are fulfilled, including assessing the feasibility of remote surveys when applicable.
- Client Communication: Confirm client attendance by delivering clear and timely communication about scheduling and any changes.
- Knowledge Development: Continuously build local knowledge of clients, locations, and surveyors to improve scheduling effectiveness.
- Standards and Processes: Ensure compliance with global standards and processes in all planning and scheduling activities, upholding accountability and performance.
- Client Centricity: Elevate client feedback to management and foster a client-centric culture that emphasizes a consistently positive client journey.
- Ownership Handover: Facilitate a smooth and transparent handover of tasks between teams; adhere to the RACI document and clearly communicate transition points to prevent overlaps or gaps in responsibility.
