An enthusiastic and motivated individual with entry level knowledge of the offshore energy industry and business development/sales who can develop and grow to become a key contributor to our overall sales performance. Primary focus will be on learning the industry by assisting experienced sales team members develop opportunities from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and Qualify: Support members of the offshore sales team identify and qualify potential opportunities through management of industry and client portals.
- Engage and Discover: Support and shadow sales team members engaging key personnel to develop and maintain relationships within the offshore energy client groups such as energy project developers, EPCIs and OEMs in line with sales strategy and stakeholder mapping.
- Propose and Iterate: Support sales team by developing clear, concise and compelling proposals either independently or working within a team of SMEs and bid managers which reflect the clients’ needs based on intelligence gathered and direction from sales lead.
- Bid and Win: Contribute to the sales team success by supporting in provision of timely, technically and financially sound bid submissions in response to RFQ/RFPs.
- Support Our Numbers: Support sales team leadership visibility of sales performance and forecasting by assisting with collecting and reporting sales data.
- Learn and Share: Through shadowing of experienced sales team members develop a thorough understanding of LR’s solution portfolio, to prepare for career development within the team to undertake selling independently while actively participating in external marketing events, conferences, and workshops to develop sales networks and promote LR.
Qualifications:
- Desire to develop consultative sales knowledge and skills to pursue a career in business development.
- Knowledge of global offshore energy sector (O&G/Renewables).
- Comfortable in reaching out to industry professionals to personally develop network.
- Flexible for worldwide travel as and when required for new client meetings/follow ups.
- Ability to communicate value propositions via a variety of mediums in a clear, concise and compelling manner at different levels within organisations and to influence successfully and openly at all levels.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teams across the organisation, with cross-functional teams as well as internal teams of departments.
