About The Role

We are looking for an

Indirect Category Buyer to support sourcing activities across a range of indirect spend categories.

This role will focus on delivering procurement projects, managing supplier relationships, and driving value through cost optimisation, risk management and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of category sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activity across indirect categories such as professional services, facilities, IT and logistics.
  • Support supplier selection, tender processes and contract negotiations to achieve commercially sound outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and identify procurement opportunities.
  • Manage supplier performance, ensuring service, quality and contractual commitments are met.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation and continuous improvement.
  • Support contract management, compliance and risk mitigation activities.

About You

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
  • Knowledge of indirect procurement and sourcing methodologies.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
