As a trusted partner to the Head of Technical Underwriting, you will lead and facilitate technical discussions, shape underwriting guidance, coordinate market-facing initiatives and deliver practical solutions to complex market challenges. This is a highly visible role that offers direct exposure to senior stakeholders across multiple managing agents and industry bodies. It provides the opportunity to build a strong profile while contributing to the future direction of specialist underwriting classes.

The Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) represents the interests of 59 Lloyd's managing agents and members' agents. The purpose of the LMA is to make the market a better place and in so doing, maintain the Lloyd's market's position as the pre-eminent leader in specialty and commercial risk. We sit at the centre of the Lloyd's market, a world-leading global marketplace for complex risk.

  • Support the ongoing development of underwriting, claims, finance, risk and operations professionals through our award-winning LMA Academy.
  • Drive forward a digitalisation agenda for the market.
  • Advance the market's inclusive culture.

Collaboration is at the core of what we do. We engage closely with our members to understand and tackle the issues that matter most, and we partner with Lloyd's and other market associations to help shape the future of the marketplace.
