Lloyd’s List Intelligence is undergoing a period of rapid growth and is seeking an exceptional Project Accountant to join the Commercial Finance and FP&A teams on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This role will play a key part in embedding best practices across revenue reporting, reconciliation, and commercial modelling to support our expanding global operations. You’ll be instrumental in driving reporting excellence—particularly around revenue—by strengthening reconciliation processes between Salesforce and NetSuite, and partnering with the Product team to enhance business‑case modelling and performance tracking. This is a high‑impact role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and insightful revenue reporting for month‑end close, board packs, and weekly trading meetings.
- Enhance financial models and streamline processes to accelerate the development and review of new product business cases.
- Redesign and implement end‑to‑end revenue capture and reporting processes in collaboration with Finance, Data, and Sales Operations.
- Establish a weekly feedback loop to monitor and improve the Salesforce‑NetSuite sales order interface.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools to support timely, data‑led decision‑making by senior leadership.
- Provide commercial finance support across the business, including to Sales and Product teams.
- Support the CFO, FP&A, and wider Finance team with ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role.
- Strong commercial acumen and advanced numerical and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build robust financial models in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in a global or multi‑entity business environment.
- Exposure to private equity‑backed organisations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and/or NetSuite.
