Within Lloyd's Treasury & Investment Management (LTIM), we oversee a diverse range of investment and treasury activities for both Lloyd's and the wider Lloyd's market. As we continue a significant transformation journey, including the implementation of strategic investment platforms and reporting capabilities, we are looking for an experienced investment professional to join our Investment Performance, Risk & Oversight team.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to play a key role in the delivery, oversight and continuous improvement of investment performance, attribution, valuation and regulatory reporting across Lloyd's investment portfolios. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded investment professional to combine technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and process improvement in a highly visible role. You will work at the intersection of investment performance, regulatory reporting, data quality and strategic change initiatives, helping shape the future of investment reporting and oversight within Lloyd's.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of Solvency II and investment-related regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Reviewing investment data, calculations, reconciliations and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and control.
  • Acting as a senior technical point of contact for analysts and stakeholders.
  • Preparing investment performance and risk analysis for senior internal committees and decision makers.
  • Partnering with investment managers, custodians, auditors, data providers and system vendors to resolve issues and improve reporting processes.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for Aladdin performance and reporting capabilities.
  • Supporting strategic transformation initiatives, including Aladdin enhancements and broader reporting change programmes.
  • Investigating complex data, valuation, benchmark and performance issues and recommending solutions.
  • Maintaining a strong control environment and supporting internal and external audit activities.

We're looking for someone who combines strong investment knowledge with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality reporting. You will likely have:

Essential Experience:

  • Experience within investment performance, portfolio analysis, investment reporting, operations or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience producing or reviewing investment performance and attribution reporting.
  • Strong understanding of investment valuation principles and investment data flows.
  • Experience working with a broad range of asset classes.
  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex reporting or data issues.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external providers.
  • Aladdin experience across performance measurement, attribution, reporting, benchmarks or data management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining robust controls.

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of Solvency II, Pillar 3, QAD or similar regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing and process implementation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Power Query, SQL, Python or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects.
  • Knowledge of Aladdin by Blackrock.

Qualifications:

You will likely hold a degree in a numerate discipline or possess equivalent professional experience. We would also welcome candidates who are working towards, or interested in pursuing:

  • ACA or ACCA
  • CFA
