With our success and growth, we are currently looking to recruit a PSV Technician to work at our Machynlleth depot with our team of Engineers and Technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing repair and maintenance of our public service buses and coaches, be a good team member and be able to work on a shift pattern rota. Average working week is 42 hours with overtime available if required. Pay rate is £19.50.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the PSV / HGV industry and hold either a City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 accreditation or equivalent (time served engineers without these qualifications will also be considered). We will also consider any good experienced Vehicle Technician from any background, e.g., Car/Van mechanics. A PSV license would be beneficial but is not essential. It will be a requirement of the role to obtain one - we will provide training if you do not currently have your PSV license. You must be fit to pass the medical required as part of the license application. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship opportunities).

Duties to include:

  • Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing, monthly inspections and repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation).
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines and to the highest standard.
  • Have an ability to work to the highest Health & Safety standards.
