Lloyd's Coaches are one of the leading bus and coach companies in Wales. We thrive in providing quality services across Wales and the UK, offering quality bus services for TfW across their local and long distance services. We pride ourselves on safety and quality, having been awarded gold status in our last three TfW audits. With our success and growth, we are currently looking to recruit a PSV Technician to work at our Machynlleth depot with our team of Engineers and Technicians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing repair and maintenance of our public service buses and coaches. You should be a good team member and be able to work on a shift pattern rota. The average working week is 42 hours with overtime available if required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the PSV / HGV industry and hold either a City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 accreditation or equivalent (time served engineers without these qualifications will also be considered). We will also consider any good experienced Vehicle Technician from any background, such as Car/Van mechanics. A PSV license would be beneficial but is not essential; it will be a requirement of the role to obtain one, and we will provide training if you do not currently have your PSV license. You must be medically fit to pass the medical required as part of the license application.

  • Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing, monthly inspections and repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation)
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines and to the highest standard
