The Role

Provision of comprehensive operational support to the Head of Member Relations and the Members Services Leadership team, including management of key Member Services activities.

Principal Accountabilities

  • A trusted advisor to the Head of Member Relations and Member Services leadership team, acting as spokesperson for the department to internal and external stakeholders and in line with key business priorities across the team, function, Corporation and Market.
  • Ownership of Executive, Board Risk Committee and Audit Committee actions for Member Services, managing action tracking on behalf of Member Services Leadership team to ensure all required output is met.
  • Manage preparation of messages and presentations to Member representatives, the Market and further afield.
  • Ownership of the Business Continuity Plan for Member Services.
  • Lead the relationship with key service providers to the department, such as Group Technology, HR and Recruitment.
  • Ownership of the Member Services Organisational Design, with responsibility for leading the promotion and hiring processes for the department.
  • Lead and scope Member Services Training requirements, including identification of development areas.
  • Lead change communications to encourage positive engagement from the team and stakeholders.
  • Provide key strategic briefings and recommendations for upcoming meetings by collecting and analysing all necessary information and liaising with relevant stakeholders/Leadership Team.
  • Pro-active preparation of documents on behalf of Member Services.
  • Preparing and submitting expenses and raising orders/requisitions.
  • Providing comprehensive support in communicating with other stakeholders.
  • Support, and where appropriate lead, business and cross-functional programmes and projects that are crucial to the success of the Member Services team and wider Lloyd’s strategies.
  • Support the wider Member Services teams including supporting administrative support for project management activities.
  • Coordinate key activities between Member Services and other Lloyd’s functions.
