Working hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm. Hours: 40 per week, Days of work: Monday – Friday.

Join Speedy – the UK’s leading hire provider. Speedy supplies the widest range of tools, specialist equipment and plant to support every job. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lifting Engineer to join our busy Warrington depot workshop.

In this hands‑on role you will take responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of our lifting hire equipment, playing a key part in ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable and high-quality equipment every time. You may also be required to attend customer sites to carry out breakdowns and servicing for equipment on long‑term hire.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Testing, maintaining and repairing lifting hire equipment
  • Ensuring equipment meets safety and compliance standards
  • Supporting workshop operations and maintaining accurate records
  • Attending customer sites for servicing and breakdown support when required
  • Contributing to our ESG – Decade to Deliver strategy

What you’ll need:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment
  • Commitment to high health and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and problem‑solving mindset
