Job Overview
Delivery Driver - 7.5 ton vehicle (C1 licence required). Based in Kilmarnock, we need a driver for Mon–Fri 07:30–17:00, 42 hours per week. Flexible hours including job shares or amended hours are considered. You will drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment locally and act as the face of the business.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment around the local area.
- Adhere to safety, delivery schedules and company policies.
- Represent the company’s vision, mission and values in customer interactions.
- Support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (C1) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Strong customer focus.
- Experience driving within the UK.
- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
- People‑skill orientation and friendly communication.
- Ability to walk long periods and work outdoors in any weather.
