As a Surveyor Engineer, you will carry out statutory inspections, examinations and assessments of customer equipment in accordance with current legislation, industry standards and Lloyds British procedures.
You will identify defects, provide clear technical recommendations and produce accurate inspection reports to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
Working across a variety of customer sites, you will deliver a professional, customer-focused service while operating safely, efficiently and in line with agreed technical authorities and company standards.
As an experienced Surveyor Engineer, you will maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, demonstrate sound engineering judgement and represent Lloyds British to the highest professional standards.

Our Surveyor Engineers are experienced engineering professionals who possess excellent technical knowledge and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
You will have
- Relevant engineering qualifications and industry-recognised inspection certifications appropriate to your discipline.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge.
- Experience carrying out statutory inspections, examinations or maintenance of industrial equipment.
- A sound understanding of current legislation, regulations and industry standards relevant to your discipline.
- The ability to identify defects, assess risk and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to build lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence.
