About the role

Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job!

Location: Glasgow

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00 (42 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • As a depot-based Lifting Engineer in our busy workshop, you will have overall responsibility for the testing, maintenance and repair of our lifting hire equipment.
  • You will play a key role in the customer journey ensuring that they are at the heart of everything we do.
  • You may also be required to attend customer sites to undertake breakdowns and servicing for equipment on long-term customer contracts.

Qualifications

  • Driving licence
  • Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment
  • Ensure that high standards of health and safety in the workplace are maintained
  • Able to work on your own or in a team
