We’re looking for an Asset and Fulfilment Operative to join our depot team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting daily operations by managing equipment inventory, ensuring its availability, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You’ll be responsible for booking and inspecting equipment, assisting with sourcing and stock management, coordinating logistics activities, and providing excellent support to our customers and depot teams. This role combines hands‑on operational work with essential administrative and safety responsibilities, contributing to the smooth running of the depot.
What you’ll do:
- Book equipment into the depot, check for damage, and report any issues promptly.
- Support the Fulfilment & Asset Manager with day‑to‑day operations, including customer support and deputising when required.
- Monitor and manage assets using D365.
- Pick, allocate, and source equipment to meet depot needs and shortfalls.
- Coordinate Transport and Returns (T&R) activity.
- Maximise asset availability and escalate shortages when necessary.
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment for dispatch and return.
- Handle customer and internal enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Identify and report safety risks within the depot or workshop.
- Complete all administrative and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in weekly asset counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the company’s equipment and services.
- Carry out additional duties as required to support the team.
