Speedy Powered Access is part of the Speedy group, the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job! We are looking to strengthen our engineering team with the addition of a Depot Engineering Manager at our depot based in Erith.

As a Depot Engineering Manager you will supervise the Powered Access Service Engineers on a day to day basis to deliver an excellent service to our customers, ensuring that all requirements for repairs and maintenance are completed in a safe and efficient manner, providing both technical assistance and support for your team of engineers as well as our customers.

What we need from you:

  • CAP registered/minimum 5 years experience in the powered access industry
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience working with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, Haulotte and JLG machines
  • Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
  • Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
  • Responsibility to keep the fleet compliant and ready for hire
  • Ability to time manage your team effectively and prioritise work requirements day to day
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
