Depot Engineer – Power Generation & Compressed Air Systems
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (42 hours per week)
Location: Teesside, TS18 3AW

What You’ll Be Doing- Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of generators (20–1400 kVA) and compressors within our Teesside depot.
- Carrying out fault diagnosis, component replacement and high‑quality mechanical repairs.
- Working with modern telematics systems; our fleet is fully compatible with ComAp and Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) control panels.
- Providing professional support to customers and collaborating with internal teams.
- Upholding Speedy’s high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with diesel engines and power generation equipment.
- Experience working with generators, compressors or similar plant.
- Confident fault‑finding skills and hands‑on repair experience.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support overtime and participate in the on‑call rota.
- A commitment to supporting our ESG strategy – Decade to Deliver.
