The team leads TBP's data strategy, develops client insight capabilities, supports the design and delivery of new data-driven solutions across Transaction Banking, and manages LBMI- Lloyds Banking Group's flagship market intelligence product.

Your key accountabilities in this role will include:

  • Product & Insight Development: Apply an understanding of data product management gained in either a treasury, financial services, or data provider environment to lead the analysis of complex datasets from multiple sources, identifying themes, insights, and implications for business and product decisions.
  • Data Product Delivery: Own the delivery of a portfolio of data and analytics initiatives, ensuring defined outcomes are met and progress is effectively reported to senior stakeholders. You’ll translate business needs into well-defined data product requirements and oversee delivery by specialist product, analytics, or technology teams.
  • Data & Platform Stewardship: Oversee significant aspects of data management, analytics, or reporting capabilities, ensuring they are fit for purpose, scalable, and appropriately governed. You’ll also identify gaps in data processes or tooling and implement improvements aligned to agreed priorities.
  • Change & Improvement: Lead defined projects or workstreams within broader change or transformation programmes, improving how data and insights are used across the organisation. You’ll evaluate and recommend solutions that balance analytical sophistication, commercial relevance, and delivery practicality.
  • Risk, Governance & Controls: Own ongoing product governance for data products, ensuring clear accountability, documented controls, and alignment with relevant data, privacy, and regulatory frameworks throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure products operate within the agreed risk appetite by embedding appropriate controls, working closely with risk, legal, and compliance partners as products evolve.
  • Stakeholder & Communication: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and selected clients to ensure data products meet user needs and are effectively adopted. You’ll also produce clear, audience‑appropriate materials explaining data insights and delivery outcomes.

  • Strong ability to analyse complex datasets, identify insights and translate findings into commercially relevant opportunities and solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering data products, analytics initiatives or data-led change programmes from concept through to implementation.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data, analytics, technology, risk and business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and present complex information clearly to different audiences.
  • Understanding of data governance, risk management and regulatory requirements associated with data products and analytics solutions.
