What you'll be doing… We are looking for a leader of our new AI Productivity Lab, reporting to the Group Director of Data & AI Architecture. The purpose of the Lab is to accelerate internal AI-driven employee productivity and process automation using the latest agentic co-working technologies. In this role you'll lead a high‑performing team of AI Productivity engineers at the forefront of agentic AI, where software engineering, process automation and advanced tooling come together to transform how work gets done.
You'll drive the adoption of agentic coworking across key business areas, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to embed intelligent agents into day‑to‑day workflows, SOPs and tools-delivering measurable impact at pace. You'll shape and build a cutting‑edge platform for agentic coworking, including an evolving, agent‑maintained knowledge base of enterprise capabilities and a growing ecosystem of agentic coworkers and tools. Working hand‑in‑hand with business and technology leaders, you'll define what's possible and set the strategic direction for productivity and automation, while staying close to emerging industry and open‑source innovations. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys building, experimenting and leading from the front-setting a clear vision, providing technical direction, and inspiring others to push boundaries and deliver meaningful change.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering transformational business and technology change in a regulated Financial Services environment, including knowledge of operational processes, risk management, change management and compliance.
- Authoritative expertise in agentic coding and/or coworking technology (e.g. Claude Code and/or Cowork, OpenClaw, GitHub Copilot), grounded in hands‑on experience.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise software engineering, application development, infrastructure and enterprise architecture, with an ability to manage and direct engineering activities.
- Hands‑on experience using AI‑SDLC tooling (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate individual and team engineering productivity.
- Experience of acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and influencing business strategy.
