About this opportunity

We're looking for an ambitious Director to join our Global Fiduciary & Professional Services sector team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a front line, client focused individual to join a high-profile coverage team. Global Fiduciary & Professional Services is a coverage business within Corporate & Institutional Banking at LBG that is responsible for the management of relationships with Large / Global Corporate clients across Fiduciary & Professional Services - these clients have turnover that exceeds £100m up to global FTSE 100 business / global firms size. We handle a portfolio including many high-profile clients with the specific role having responsibility for managing clients primarily in the Professional Services space. This senior leadership role is critical in harnessing these complex, high profile and profitable relationships to best meet client needs and to develop the LBG franchise across Coverage, Product and Delivery areas.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage clients within the Corporate & Institutional Coverage portfolio to build stronger, deeper and more sustainable partner relationships.
  • Improve and increase the quality and quantity of the business to achieve business objectives for income generation whilst ensuring the effective management of risk.
  • Be an advocate of the Bank, building relationships with key influencers and professionals across the sector to develop market and profile and presence.
  • Develop deep sector knowledge and drive high level of client insight to find opportunities to grow income sustainably.
  • Takes responsibility for implementing a team's formal development framework, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.
  • Sets medium term objectives and help implement a team's performance management systems.
  • Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.

What We Need From You

  • Proven track record in originating and developing relationships and building alliances with large corporate clients, ideally in Professional Services.
  • Previous financial services sector leadership experience.
  • Ability to develop your people through high quality coaching and mentoring. Being skilled at giving quality feedback to inspire colleagues to perform to the best of their ability.
  • Strong experience managing Senior stakeholders both within and outside your organisation.
  • Excellent credit analysis skills with the ability to assess, analyse and interpret financial information.
