Hours Full time – 35 hours. Working Pattern Hybrid, with at least two days per week (40%) at one of our office sites. We support flexible working options including job share.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an AI Security Specialist, you’ll help secure AI systems across Lloyds Banking Group. You’ll shape the AI Security strategy, assess and strengthen security of AI platforms, commission testing and adversarial assessments, and design AI‑driven security capabilities such as threat and anomaly detection. You’ll advise on risk, compliance, and regulation to ensure industry standards are met. You’ll work with engineering and data teams to embed security controls from the start.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related area (5+ years).
  • Substantial experience in Cyber Security securing AI systems or public cloud applications (5+ years).
  • Solid understanding of cyber security principles and controls, including IAM, encryption, network security, and secure application design.
  • Hands‑on experience in public cloud security engineering or operation of security tooling such as WAFs (2+ years).
  • Knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, common model architectures, and emerging generative AI capabilities.
  • Experience with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and UK GDPR (5+ years).
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, threat modelling, and security audits (5+ years).
  • Strong communication, project management, and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
