As a Software Engineer, you’ll use your strong knowledge and expertise in a variety of methodologies and toolsets to assist with designing, building and unit testing code to deliver products that are fit for purpose and meet the quality standards that our customers expect. Working in one of our cross‑disciplinary teams you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and understanding as well as develop, practice and demonstrate the workplace skills and behaviours required for this job role.
What you’ll need:
- Good knowledge of the Perl programming language
- Good knowledge of the JavaScript programming language
- Experience with automated unit/integration testing
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Self‑motivated to complete allotted tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
And any experience of these would be really useful:
- Experience with architectural design patterns
- Experience in database design and development (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
- Experience integrating with APIs and version control (Git)
