What you'll be doing… In this role, you'll partner with a cross-functional team to design, build and ship small, high-quality features, using strong iOS engineering skills to deliver innovative, customer-facing experiences. Along the way, you'll sweat the details, spot opportunities to add extra value for users, and keep the app fast and reliable by fixing bugs and continuously improving performance. You're an exceptional developer of mobile applications with a solid focus on iOS. You don't just put your head down and code. You're constantly seeking a better way to do things, a cleaner, more intuitive interaction. You've studied the most popular mobile apps and you have well-articulated theories about why they are designed the way they are. This position requires collaboration with designers, product managers and other team members of our engineering team. What we're looking for?
- 5+ years' experience in building apps with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency
- Experience developing apps that delight users, having shipped one or more apps to the App Store
- Experience writing tests (unit test, integration test, UI test, etc.)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- A genuine interest in working in a fast-paced startup, ideally in fintech or payments
