An opportunity to manage a Finance Platform with an annual spend of ~£150m, fronting the Finance Transformation within the Group Cost & Investment team. The role delivers partnering, challenge and insight and supports business units and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality partnering support to the Finance Platform day to day.
- Produce and present clear, insightful management reporting to senior colleagues, including the Platform DFD, CIO, BPL and Group Cost & Investment Director.
- Identify, assess and proactively manage risks to the platform cost base.
- Build strong relationships with the Finance Platform Business Management team to drive a robust “no surprises” culture.
- Work with divisional teams to understand platform benefits, providing independent oversight of SI benefit validation and reporting.
- Financial governance and oversight, including SOX compliance and balance sheet control.
- Engage on relevant Signature and Essential Actions, ensuring interlock on all investment/project benefits, payback and OKRs.
- Work closely with the Centre of Excellence to ensure high‑quality inputs, outputs and effective communication.
- Role‑model Lloyds Banking Group’s culture and leadership behaviours through visible, values‑led leadership.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (e.g. ACCA).
- 5+ years post‑qualified experience gaining deep financial experience, understanding of core financial principles and controls.
- 5+ years of strong business partnering capability.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, demonstrating prioritisation, direction and support for a small team.
- Proven ability to engage in constructive challenge with and from the Business to support robust decision‑making.
- Proven judgement to resolve issues, raising when needed and collaborating to reach the right outcome for the Group.
- Build effective working relationships across Finance, Technology and Business Management teams.
- Comfortable managing urgent requests, changing priorities, adapting focus while maintaining delivery of core activities.
