The Private Banking Manager generates new external client relationships from across a range of agreed industry sectors, helping them to achieve their financial goals and aspirations through offering Banking, Specialist Lending, Investments, Estate Planning & Trust services as well as referrals to our internal and external group partners, tailored to individual client circumstances. Leads client relationships with overall responsibility for identifying and meeting client needs and ensuring liaison with all appropriate parts of LBG in order to ensure first class standards of service. Manages a broad network of external introducers.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high‑impact portfolio of entrepreneur clients and play a leading role in growing Lloyds Banking Group’s Private Banking Entrepreneurs proposition. As a Private Banking Manager, you’ll build deep, trusted relationships with entrepreneurs, founders and owner‑managed business owners across sectors such as Tech & Digital, FinTech, Healthcare, Consumer Brands, Manufacturing and Social Enterprise. You’ll help clients navigate both their personal and business financial goals, delivering joined‑up solutions across banking, specialist lending, investments, estate planning and trust services. You’ll generate new external client relationships through a strong network of introducers, while also supporting existing clients with complex and evolving needs. Working closely with colleagues across Private Banking, Mass Affluent and wider Group specialists, you’ll ensure consistently high‑quality outcomes, particularly where situations are sensitive or complex. You’ll have end‑to‑end ownership of your client relationships and play a visible role in shaping growth within this strategically important sector.

Essential Skills
  • 5+ years’ experience managing and growing High Net Worth client relationships within Private Banking or a closely related environment.
  • Strong understanding of entrepreneur clients and the financial needs of founders and owner‑managed businesses.
  • Proven ability to originate new client relationships through professional and introducer networks.
  • Experience delivering tailored financial solutions across banking, lending, investments and wealth planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working collaboratively across complex organisations.
Desirable Skills
