LOCATION(S): Birmingham, Manchester

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: 1 day per week in your local hub office site, 1+ day(s) on the road meeting clients/brokers as required and the remainder of your week can be spent working from home. What you'll be doing

Are you a specialist in Real Estate finance, ready to make a real impact in your local business community? As a Business Development Manager in our Intermediaries team, you'll be part of Lloyds Banking Group's Business & Commercial Banking division, focused on acquiring new SME clients through broker relationships. You'll work with businesses typically turning over between £3 million and £25 million, delivering tailored funding solutions and promoting our real estate banking expertise. This role relies on your strong grasp of banking, particularly real estate market dynamics, for success. You'll be the face of the bank to brokers and professionals, helping them navigate complex funding needs and championing our proposition in the market.

Your responsibilities

  • Building and managing a portfolio of brokers, identifying new opportunities and promoting our real estate banking solutions.
  • Delivering creative funding strategies in the Residential and Commercial Investment Term lending market.
  • Writing high-quality credit proposals and ensuring compliance with conduct risk standards.
  • Representing the bank through digital advocacy and professional social media.
  • Collaborating across teams to bring the full breadth of Lloyds Banking Group to your clients.

  • Proven experience in banking, with a strong understanding of SME and real estate sector funding.
  • We're seeking 2+ years of experience of partnering with SME clients.
