- Expertise in advising on regulation including Market Abuse Regulation and The Consumer Duty and experience in overseeing the management of inside and confidential information, business and transactional conflicts, and market conduct.
- Sound knowledge across a broad product set, including market products such as FX, derivatives and commodities, and sales channels including relationship management, digital services and regulated credit broking.
- Experience overseeing and challenging change, transformation or product activity from a conduct and compliance perspective, to ensure an effective and robust control environment.
- Ability to anticipate emerging regulatory risks and external threats, assess their potential impact, and provide forward‑looking advice to support effective risk decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory and risk issues and engage credibly with senior audiences and in governance fora.
- Experience in overseeing and advising a business on AI adoption and scalable use cases.
- A data‑led approach, with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement and everyday innovation.
And any of these would be great:
- A professional qualification related to Compliance or Risk.
