LOCATION: Bristol or London

HOURS: 35 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office hubs mentioned above

The Personalised Experiences and Communications platform (PEC) sits at the heart of this transformation, working with the second largest customer dataset in the UK, as well as the latest tools available through Google's Cloud Platform, to enable the delivery of real-time personalised experiences for customers across our market leading brands and channels.

We are seeking a Product Intelligence Analyst who can be part of the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement. Someone who is as committed to embedding data-driven decision-making as we are! If this sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you!

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Helping embed the practice of 'continuous product discovery' into Platform ways of working, integrating actionable insight into every stage of the product development process.
  • Applying appropriate analytical techniques to uncover insights into customer behaviour and product performance, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance user engagement and optimise business outcomes.
  • Helping embed an innovation mindset across the Platform through the development of consistent experimentation frameworks.
  • Developing performance measurement frameworks to effectively evidence progress against strategic goals and drive next best actions.
  • Collaborating to uncover opportunities for data improvement to support and craft specific key results.
  • Be part of and help shape a Platform wide analytical community to define and embed best practice.
  • Establishing strong relationships with a broad range of business and technical partners from across the organisation.
  • Creating ongoing evidence to provide constructive challenge to the strategic direction of the Platform and its Products.
  • Maintaining continuity whilst navigating the LBG data transition from GDW to GCP.

About you: Demonstrable years' experience in Data Science or Analytics roles. A strong background in SQL with proficiency of the Group Data Warehouse (GDW) and experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & Big Query. Proficiency in Python or R. Experience with A/B testing or experimental design. Experience at applying the right advanced analytics techniques to solve business problems. An ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear and compelling stories that strategically influence. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. An understanding of JIRA and Confluence is a nice to have but not crucial. Strong Business Acumen with a good understanding of all aspects of financial services.
