- Own and track delivery of the commercial plan, including milestones, risks, actions and dependencies
- Partner with Finance and Product teams to manage P&L performance, revenue and profitability drivers
- Define priority sub-segments, sectors and growth opportunities using client and market insight, looking at client level profitability and lifetime value
- Lead needs-based segmentation to identify growth areas and priority sub-segments
- Shape and prioritise investment cases based on return, impact and feasibility
- Influence senior leaders and align teams to deliver growth while meeting risk and regulatory expectations
We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone.
What we’re looking for?
- Experience managing commercial performance within Financial Services, preferably in SME or commercial banking
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including knowledge of balance sheet and non-balance-sheet income drivers, profitability and value creation, with experience in forecasting, commercial planning leading to prioritisation of actions and investment decisions.
- Strategic and commercial leadership, with the ability to influence enterprise-level strategy and translate it into clear, prioritised plans that deliver measurable commercial results
- Experience using client, market and financial insight to define sub-segments, measure customer level profitability and lifetime value.
- Confident using data and insight, fluent with AI-enabled financial analysis
