Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this Opportunity: This is a senior leadership role shaping how we design and deliver Business Banking propositions for our target segments. You'll own the development of segment-led propositions, turning client needs into clear, differentiated proposition offers. You'll define proposition features, servicing models, channels and influence pricing to grow engagement, retention and lifetime value. You'll also own value adding services and partnerships, including data-driven services, embedded accounting and rewards. Working closely with Product and Platform teams, you'll drive Agile, AI-enabled delivery of scalable solutions that improve client outcomes and commercial performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and deliver the Business Banking proposition strategy, aligned to target segments and commercial priorities
  • Lead discovery of client and segment unmet needs and turning them into clear proposition opportunities
  • Design and evolve tiered propositions for priority sub-segments, including features, benefits, service levels and pricing
  • Own partner-led services and propositions, encompassing analytics-based offerings, coordinated accounting, and incentive programs
  • Define servicing strategy and channel design, aligning propositions to the priority sub-segments, channels and service models
  • Partner with Product and Platform teams to deliver proposition roadmaps, using Agile delivery and clear prioritisation
  • Develop and prioritise proposition for investment, based on client demand, commercial value and delivery feasibility
  • Set the commercial plan for proposition performance. Track performance to plan and improve outcomes, including adoption, engagement, revenue and retention

What we’re looking for:

  • Modern product and proposition leadership - experience defining and delivering financial services products and propositions preferably in the context of business/SME banking
  • Client needs led approach - ability to utilise data, research and insight along with confirmed experience to understand unmet client needs, develop proposition strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Commercial and performance focus - experience driving growth, profitability, retention and lifetime value
  • Bringing value through partnerships - experience developing partner ecosystem led propositions and value creation.
  • Enterprise stakeholder influence - ability to lead, communicate effectively and influence cross functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Data and Risk. Ability to communicate key points succinctly and effectively with senior stakeholders to influence important decisions.
  • Delivery and governance - experience working in Agile and Iterative environments, building proposition for investment and delivering value within strong risk and control frameworks, with awareness of AI and emerging technologies
  • Proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams. Drives a strong performance culture focused on customer outcomes, sustainable growth, effective risk management, and inclusive talent development
  • Actively promotes diversity and inclusion, while developing and progressing talent
