About this opportunity
A great opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director in our Corporate Specialist Sales Team, in Lloyds Merchant Services to help us grow our market share. You’ll use your specialist knowledge and experience in the payments space to manage and develop commercial client relationships along with associated income and risks. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, leading on commercial and contractual negotiations to their successful outcome.
Your responsibilities will include:
- New Business development focused on a range of verticals with business turnover of £100m+.
- Work with internal stakeholders to support the growth of the pipeline and qualify opportunities where Lloyds offering fits.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance the merchant experience.
- Complete requirements for Salesforce, weekly reports and ad‑hoc reports to support business development and management activity.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

- Understand sales process and behaviours to deliver pipeline.
- Understanding of payments landscape and how technology works.
- Previous IT / Fintech sales experience.
