What you’ll be doing: Everyday Banking sits at the heart of how millions of customers manage their money, day in and day out. Within our Consumer Deposits Platform / Consumer Payments Platform, our teams focus on building simple, reliable, and inclusive banking experiences that customers can trust. The person in this Senior Product Lead role will be responsible for two exciting Open-Banking powered customer propositions that allow customers to manage all their finances in LBG apps – we call them Connected Accounts and Money Movement. The person leading these will be able to directly contribute to propositions that will contribute to Everyday Banking and Investment product goals. We have a keen ambition for further growth and innovation built on strong commercial understanding of the impact of these products on key financial levers. You’ll shape and implement experience strategy for the product area.
- Own product strategy and outcomes: Define product vision, strategy and objectives and key results. Own commercial, customer and operational performance. Make complex prioritisation and investment decisions.
- Lead product teams at scale: Lead and develop Product Leads and teams. Set direction while empowering teams to deliver. Resolve cross team dependencies and trade offs.
- Set product excellence standards: Establish strong, consistent product practices. Embed experimentation, learning and continuous improvement. Champion customer centric, evidence led decision making.
- Ensure governance and resilience: Own end to end controls for your product area. Ensure regulatory, risk and resilience requirements are met. Represent your product in governance and decision forums.

What we’re looking for:
- A minimum 10 years demonstrable experience owning outcomes for a product, feature or journey.
- Strong prioritisation and decision-making capability.
- Confidence using data, insight and experimentation.
- Experience working in cross functional product teams.
- Awareness of risk, controls and regulation in product delivery.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to mobile first or large scale digital products.
