What You’ll Be Doing

As a Product Lead, you own a clear slice of a product or journey, from problem definition through to delivery and ongoing optimisation. You are accountable for outcomes, not just output, and you play a critical role in translating product vision into actionable priorities for your team. You will lead discovery and delivery within a stable cross‑functional product team, working closely with engineers, designers, Customer Journey Managers, researchers and business partners. You'll define and prioritise the product backlog, make evidence‑led trade‑offs, and ensure your team is focused on delivering the highest‑value outcomes. Product excellence is central to the role. You'll use customer insight, data and experimentation to guide decisions, balancing customer desirability, commercial viability, technical feasibility and regulatory requirements. You'll ensure quality, resilience and controls are embedded into product design and delivery. You are accountable for safe and sustainable delivery, operating within the organisation's risk appetite and ensuring appropriate governance, controls and reporting are in place. You'll actively develop your product capability and begin supporting the growth of others through coaching, feedback and contribution to product communities.
