As a Transport Reporting Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of monthly financial results, take ownership of key value drivers, as well as assist in the delivery of change initiatives impacting Transport. You will work collaboratively across a multitude of Finance teams to ensure delivery in a controlled manner.

- OTHER LOCATIONS: Cardiff, Bristol, Manchester
- HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours per week
- WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this Opportunity
The Transport business is undergoing a significant period of change supported by a strategic programme to migrate legacy customer platforms to new cloud-based systems. At the same time, the Transport industry is facing significant economic and market challenges with the transition to ‘Electric’ and the recent uncertainty in the used car market. Finance plays a vital role in helping the business achieve its goals, and our Transport Reporting and Development team is at the centre of this partnership.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Fully Own Lex Autolease Financial Reporting: including delivery of monthly financial results along with supporting analysis.
- Deliver quarterly External Reporting and support colleagues in delivering statutory Legal Entity reporting.
- Support the Finance Business Partnering Team in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts and delivery of the quarterly Investor Relations pack.
- Financial Control: Ensure that the team are operating within the Groups Financial Control Framework and take ownership of reviewing and signing off monthly reconciliations and attestations.
- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key collaborators across Transport and the wider Retail Finance community.
- Support team activities: Contribute to development, learning and process improvement within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Invest in Personal Growth: Actively respond to individual and team objectives, by enhancing personal performance and growing your skills and capabilities.
- Day to Day Line Management Responsibility: for three D grade colleagues in the team.
- Exposure to Senior Stakeholders across both Transport and Retail Finance.
What you’ll need
- Ideally a qualified Finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified through experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills as well as natural leadership capabilities.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work across multiple finance teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A curious mindset with an eye for process improvement & automation opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using experience to address critical risks/issues/dependencies as they arise and ensuring resolution within agreed timescales.
- Demonstrate the right values and behaviours and encouraging this in team members.
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Ability to use/interrogate Oracle Fusion/ Fusion and ARCS
- An understanding of Transport products.
- Ability to use Power Query/BI
