Our core technology focus is on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The Public Cloud Services Lab delivers centrally managed, secure and scalable cloud services across Azure and GCP. We focus on engineering excellence, automation and AI‑driven efficiency to provide clear, ready‑to‑consume platforms that make it easy for teams to onboard and run critical workloads. You’ll assist with the design, build, and operate secure, automated cloud platform capabilities that support both API Gateway solutions and a broader set of Integration cloud products. Your work will enable product teams to deliver API‑first services at pace, employing reusable patterns and robust integration tools.
Responsible for:
- Build and operate platform capabilities using Infrastructure‑as‑Code and modern CI/CD; partner with architecture and feature teams to evolve our cloud roadmap and platform products.
- Embed a secure‑by‑design approach and controls from design to runtime, safeguarding colleagues and customers.
- Define and operate against SLOs/SLIs; implement actionable observability, performance tuning and automation to reduce toil.
- Enable API‑first delivery with reusable patterns and golden paths for API producers/consumers; contribute to documentation and enablement.
- Contribute to communities of practice, upholding Platform Engineering standards expected at Grade D.
What you’ll need:
- Core skills (cloud‑agnostic)
- Track record delivering large‑scale systems with performance, availability and fault‑tolerance; experience setting SLOs/SLIs.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform (minimum) and one or more modern CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness).
- Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Scripting in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
- Basic understanding in Azure ARM/Bicep/Template Spec AKS Application Gateway Azure Storage.
Desirable:
- API Management (policies/C# basics)
- Harness experience in CI/CD
- Dynatrace
- Docker/buildah/Podman
- Relevant Azure certifications
