What you’ll be doing: This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of complex financing solutions to SME and Mid-Market clients, helping businesses grow and succeed across the UK. As a Director in our Growth & Structured Finance team, you’ll originate and structure tailored funding solutions, supporting transactions such as acquisitions, MBOs and growth capital. You’ll play a key role in winning new business, leading deals end‑to‑end, and building lasting relationships across the corporate finance ecosystem. You’ll work closely with Credit Risk and Product teams to deliver high-quality, bespoke lending structures, while also supporting colleagues across the SME and Mid-Market coverage businesses and contributing to the development of our broader market proposition. We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces and colleagues to make change happen and challenge the status quo.

  • 5+ years’ experience in corporate finance, with a strong background in cash‑flow lending, debt origination and structuring
  • Strong financial analysis and credit assessment capability, including experience delivering complex or leveraged transactions
  • 5+ years’ experience working across SME and Mid‑Market client segments
  • Ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
  • Established network within the corporate finance, debt advisory and professional communities
