LOCATION(S): London

HOURS: Full Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you'll be doing:

  • We're looking for a writer or Content Designer - someone who can communicate complex ideas simply and clearly and help people understand what they need to know or do in a given context.
  • Within the team, you'll fix real customer problems by combining research and insights with clear people-focused language to meet customer needs and help them do what they need to do.
  • You'll shape different copy options and be comfortable discussing the rationale for your choice of words.
  • You'll also have an appreciation of voice and tone and know how to apply these to your writing.
  • Create engaging, readable, accessible content that gives our customers great digital experiences.
  • Develop genuine empathy for people, understanding their needs, aspirations and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the other designers in your team, contributing ideas and creating solutions.
  • Share your expertise to help shape the overall design approach.
  • Provide consistency in the way we talk to customers across topics and touchpoints.
  • Tell stories about your work to demonstrate how effective writing helps customers.

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum 2 years experience of writing concise, clear and consistent copy for different channels.
  • A collaborative attitude ready to support a busy multi-disciplinary team.
  • Confidence in writing on-brand content in multiple tones of voice.
  • Familiarity working in a complex landscape – ideally financial services.
  • Confidence when sharing copy with internal customers and receiving feedback.
  • An interest in learning about Design as a subject area.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and be an active member of the Design community.
