Role Overview
Business and Commercial Banking Markets is seeking an experienced FX sales professional to join our regulated sales team, covering a portfolio of ~c3000 RBB, Private Banking, SME and MC clients. The role focuses on origination, sales, execution and facilitation of FX transactions for SME and mid‑corporate clients, supporting them throughout their business lifecycle and managing foreign currency and commodity risk for new‑to‑bank and new‑to‑product clients.
Responsibilities
- Originate and execute FX transactions (spot, forwards, options) for SME and mid‑corporate clients.
- Drive business growth by engaging new‑to‑bank and new‑to‑product clients.
- Provide financial‑markets support and risk‑management solutions to clients throughout key stages of their lifecycle.
- Assist clients with booking trades, trading and managing business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with product partners and facilitate a strong referral process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5years of experience in a commercial FX environment within a regulated financial‑services setting.
- Proven leadership experience – line managing, mentoring and developing colleagues, including new starters.
- Strong knowledge of FX products (spot, forwards, options) and ability to price, structure and implement solutions.
- Expertise in market trends, client requirements and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain necessary qualifications and certifications for booking trades and managing client risk.
