Job Summary: Junior System Engineer – based onsite at Watford. End date: 2 June 2026. Salary range: £35,340 – £37,200.
Working Details: Full-time, 5 days onsite at Watford office. Flexible working options include flexibility in hours and job share.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all Tusker procedures to ensure quality, compliance and security; track work via the ticketing system; perform daily system monitoring of hardware, resources, systems, services and key processes.
- Desktop support: build Windows and Mac machines; troubleshoot user issues; support MS Office and manage user accounts via Active Directory and third‑party systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite; set up and administer DUO for 2‑factor authentication; provide printer and email support for desktops and laptops.
- Networking: set up VPN access; troubleshoot VPN users; support office Wi‑Fi.
- Telephony: support Tusker softphone system, call centre software, IVR setup, and mobile phones (Android and iOS).
- Office support: backup routines; CCTV and entry system (fob and biometrics); support physical office network including switches.
- Provide support for user, customer and staff requests.
- System recovery: recover from hardware or software failures; apply patches and upgrades; upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Qualifications & Experience: Experience in desktop support or any IT relevant role. Experience with programs such as Five9, Endpoint Central, Salesforce, Active Directory, Mimecast, DUO, Meraki, Office 365.
