What you'll be doing:
We're an innovative, fast‑moving business shaping finance as a force for good – empowering our people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose. As one of the UK's largest vehicle‑funding companies, we have funded or leased over 1.1 million vehicles and currently fund 1 in 8 electric vehicles on UK roads. We're now hiring a Senior Product Owner to lead Retention & Ecosystems. This part of our strategy focuses on building a connected mobility ecosystem to drive long‑term value for our customers and our business. This role sits at the heart of how we evolve and are data‑led in how we manage our customer relationships, working across the Bank, OEMs, dealers, brokers, and emerging mobility partners.
You’ll define and deliver a product roadmap that:
- Enables Lloyds and partner‑led retention journeys (OEM, dealer and broker‑led)
- Uses data, insights and predictive models to identify and act on retention opportunities
- Builds ecosystem capabilities, to enable customers to access related products and services to meet more of their everyday needs
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll combine commercial insight, customer understanding and technical expertise. You’ll be responsible for the backlog, define clear outcomes, and work closely with engineering, data, commercial and partner teams to deliver measurable customer and business value. You’ll play a key role in developing the ecosystem strategy, building partnerships, and ensuring we move to connected, orchestrated customer experiences.
Why join us?
We're on an exciting journey to transform our business and the way we serve customers across the mobility lifecycle. We're investing in platforms, partnerships and people to create a more connected, data‑driven future.
- Shape a new and strategically critical product area
- Work across commercial, technology and partner ecosystems
- Deliver end‑to‑end lifecycle innovation
- Influence how we retain and grow customer relationships
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, owning backlogs, roadmaps and outcomes
- Strong ability to translate strategy into delivery, balancing commercial, customer and technical needs
- Experience working with data‑driven products, including analytics, triggers or predictive models
- Strong collaboration skills, influencing across commercial, engineering, data and partner teams
- Understanding of platforms, integrations or ecosystem‑based products
- Ability to measure and optimise performance (e.g. retention, conversion, product penetration)
And any experience of these would be great:
- Experience in motor finance, automotive, or mobility ecosystems
- Exposure to partner‑led journeys (OEM, dealer, broker or marketplace models)
- Knowledge of API/integration‑led platforms or customer lifecycle products
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long‑term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme. We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.
