Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Sanctions Policy and assessing impacts of changes
  • Managing risks and control effectiveness for Sanctions Policy
  • Reviewing potential sanctions matches and determining treatment strategies
  • Maintaining Policy waivers
  • Supporting Major Change initiatives to ensure sanctions requirements are captured and delivered

Accountabilities

  • Leading sanctions regulatory and Lloyds Banking Group policy requirements for Insurance, Pensions & Investments division
  • Ensuring compliance with sanctions standards across the division, providing analysis, advice, and guidance tailored to senior stakeholders
  • Building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and influencing business priorities
  • Analyzing data to inform proposals and influence decisions
  • Applying expertise to embed risk mitigation into sanctions controls
  • Providing support and guidance on fraud and financial crime risks
  • Executing risk management processes, procedures, and controls aligned with data-led risk strategies

About You

  • Experience of sanctions regulation in a Life & Pensions business
  • Expert understanding of sanctions risks and developing mitigating actions
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources and assess impacts
  • Line management experience, developing financial crime specialists
  • Ability to implement actions and controls to improve policy compliance
