Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I) is evolving to deliver more digital, customer focused insurance and pensions solutions in a fast changing market, and this role sits right at the heart of that journey. As Global Productivity Lead, you’ll shape how IP&I operates globally, leading a growing team and working across the business to build simple, effective ways of working underpinned by strong governance and oversight.
This is a high‑impact leadership role at the heart of IP&I’s transformation, helping shape a modern, global operating model as the business redefines how it delivers insurance, pensions and investments in a digital market. As Global Productivity Lead, you’ll lead and build a new team, working across IP&I to improve how offshore service provision is managed, while ensuring strong governance, oversight and long‑term operational resilience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work across IP&I to identify global operating model opportunities, adopting a strategic pan-IP&I lens.
- Shape and translate our 2026–2030 strategic workforce plan into a clear execution path, connecting strategic intent with practical delivery.
- Bring bold thinking and a restless curiosity to reimagine what’s possible.
- Lead from the front—shaping the conversation, not just the output—by bringing insight, influence, and intent.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end process for international service provision, ensuring people have a smooth experience.
- Monitor the global service provision ensuring that any emerging trends/issues are identified and resolved early.
- Develop new cross‑geography initiatives to drive global productivity and innovation.
- Identify and deliver process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate knowledge and best‑practice sharing across IP&I.
- Build trusted partnerships across Business Units and wider LBG partners.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years proven leadership experience in a regulated or complex environment, with demonstrated success in building high‑performing teams.
- 5+ years experience leading large‑scale, complex change or transformation initiatives.
- 3+ years demonstrating well‑developed stakeholder management skills with comfort shaping and influencing senior people both within IP&I and the wider Group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling and making the complex simple.
- Proven collaboration skills with a capability to engage and influence key decision makers.
- Comfort with ambiguity and drive to tackle complex problems at pace.
- Robust governance and risk management capabilities.
- Strong business and commercial understanding with a focus on delivery, cost and benefits.
- Attention to detail and the confidence to challenge when required.
