Job Details

  • Location: Bristol
  • Hours: Full‑time – 35 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week at our Bristol office.
  • Salary: £67,023 – £74,470
  • Flexible working options: Hybrid Working, Job Share

What You’ll Do

  • Develop high‑quality analysis and solutions, ingesting data from multiple sources to build large, potentially complex data‑quality applications.
  • Respond to high‑priority incidents, regulatory and Group Executive complaints, identify root cause, determine number of customers impacted, and recommend solutions.
  • Provide critical customer‑data expertise to help shape problem‑solving approaches and contribute new and exciting datasets to solutions.
  • Build data‑quality dashboards and visualise them using Power BI.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in data analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and public cloud computing.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, design, and communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and share learnings.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and WebSphere Liberty (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and related toolsets.
  • Automation experience with Urbancode, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or detailed task planning.
  • Programming experience in Python or willingness to learn Python.
  • Experience writing SQL scripts in Google Cloud Platform.
