Within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM), the Securitised Products Group (SPG) team is looking for an Associate Director (AD) to join the Portfolio and Financing Management team (PFM). The role will support the origination teams within SPG by acting as the first line of defence on credit issues, managing regulatory matters surrounding securitisation, funds and client financing facilities, and providing portfolio information for regulatory capital, fee income allocation and governance management.

The key responsibility of this role is to manage the ongoing performance of the portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, maintain high‑quality, timely and accurate deal data, and provide management and credit information drawn from the bank’s systems and external sources. The role also involves maintaining relationships with Credit, Finance, Governance, Internal Audit and Operations, and working closely with SPG Origination to ensure optimal transaction outcomes from origination to paydown.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience, in excess of five years, in securitisation, either origination, surveillance or management, rating agency or a bank credit function.
  • Ability to examine asset pools on a deal‑by‑deal basis as well as analysing the portfolio over time and against various external and internal metrics.
  • Be organised – manage and prioritise tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Management and understanding of securitisation legal documentation to accurately reflect legal requirements on a third‑party portfolio monitoring system.
  • Management of large data sets primarily via Excel spreadsheets for Management Information, regulatory reporting, income analysis or one‑off research requests from senior management.
  • Be prepared to document, rationalise and organise regular processes, with an eye to continuous evaluation and improvement, ensuring that processes are followed and reflected in line with the published framework.
