LOCATION: Edinburgh

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of our time at our Edinburgh office.

What you'll be doing:

  • As an Actuary in the Customer Solutions Lab, you'll play a key role in delivering good outcomes for customers by supporting the resolution of issues across a range of insurance and pension products.
  • You’ll analyse data, design and run models to calculate redress and corrected policy positions, and provide expert input into customer treatment approaches.
  • Working in an Agile project team, you’ll ensure calculations are accurate, well-controlled, and compliant with actuarial standards, while contributing to continuous improvement in how we deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified or partly-qualified Actuary.
  • Strong technical ability in analysing problems, determining solutions and specifying and building calculations.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills.
  • Pensions and/or life assurance product knowledge.
  • Experience working in an Agile project environment is beneficial.
