What you’ll learn
Join us as a Finance apprentice and we’ll fully equip you for a rewarding career.
- Gain hands-on experience creating and checking financial reports
- Develop key skills in accounting and financial best practices
- Challenge yourself and apply new knowledge daily
- Understand the ethical and legal standards involved in finance
You’ll be actively involved from day one, turning classroom learning into real-world skills. Your apprenticeship will take around two years to complete, and cover key areas such as:
- Audit and assurance
- Finance, accounting and reporting
- Management accounting
- Governance, risk and control
- Strategic business management
- Taxation
Plus, we invest in your long-term success. After completing your level 4 apprenticeship, you’ll progress to a higher level qualification.
You’ll rotate through five different areas of our Finance function, spending around a year in each, gathering a great set of skills, discovering where your interests and talents lie, and building a career to be proud of.
Salary
£25,000 plus fantastic benefits. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, your salary will increase.
Location – Edinburgh, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, London
While you settle in, you’ll mostly be working in your hub office. As your apprenticeship progresses, you’ll move to hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office each week.
Requirements
What you’ll need to apply
For our roles in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man you’ll need GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4-9 in both Maths and English, plus 3 A levels at grade A*-C. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old on 1st September 2025.
For our roles in Scotland, you’ll need National 5 (or equivalent) at grade A-C in both Maths and English plus 3 Highers at grade A-C. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old by the end of February 2026.
These grades can be predicted, but any offer made to you will be conditional upon successful achievement of these qualifications.
If you have a degree, you can still apply for one of our apprenticeships, but this cannot be in a subject that’s related to the apprenticeship. We’ll need to see a copy of your degree module transcript to review your prior learning.

Applications for this programme will open on the 10th February 2024. We may close early if we receive a high number of applications, so it’s best to apply as soon as you can.
