HOURS: Full Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Please note: This role is only available to individuals residing in Isle of Man, or those who hold the right to work in Isle of Man.

The Crown Dependencies business, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) is the fastest-growing business within Lloyds Banking Group, making this an exciting time to join and make a real impact.

Our Financial Institutions team is seeking a Relationship Director to lead key client relationships across Isle of Man and help deliver our ambitious growth plans. You’ll work collaboratively across the Bank, building strong internal and external networks to support sustainable growth.

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Relationship Director, you’ll be accountable for delivering commercial outcomes while leading relationships and contributing to the wider team strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning delivery of growth ambitions and meeting key budgetary targets.
  • Leading business development activity, including pitching new solutions and implementing tailored client propositions.
  • Managing, maintaining and growing an existing portfolio, while identifying and securing new client relationships and opportunities.
  • Supporting senior management in the development and execution of team strategy, including identifying new markets and growth opportunities.
  • Contributing to day-to-day team management, working closely with business partners, operations and risk colleagues.
  • Challenging existing processes and identifying more efficient, client‑focused ways of working.
  • Developing your own capability through formal and informal learning, while coaching and supporting others where required.

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role.

Colleagues performing this role will be required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks.
